Bill Harding, played by Bill Paxton, wants to marry his girlfriend Melissa (Jami Gertz) but first he needs a divorce from his storm-chasing wife, Jo, played by Helen Hunt. Bill and Melissa seek out Jo in Oklahoma to get her to sign the divorce papers. However, a series of violent storms alters their plans and soon everybody is chasing the much fabled F5 tornado, the mother of all twisters.

Our verdict
We all agreed; this movie sucked bad... in fact almost as much as an F5 on the Fujita Scale. The plot was simply too obvious and the actors didn't do a very good job. Some of the special effects were pretty cool but too many movies nowadays are rich on effects but lack a good story. Twister is a perfect example. Four thumbs down! Gee, what a stinker!
