Plot
Jim Phelps (Voight) and his IMF operatives are back in this
remake of the classic TV-series. Ethan Hunt, played by Tom
Cruise, is hunting a spy who is trying to steal some very
sensitive information. True to tradition, the IMF agents
use ultra modern gadgetry in an attempt to stop the villain.
The chase takes them across most of Europe.
Our
verdict
The good news: this movie wasn't as bad as Twister was.
The bad news: Mission: Impossible failed to keep the audience
captivated and more than one of us nearly fell asleep during
the show. Okay, it was quite late in the evening but if
the plot had been better, maybe we would all have stayed
awake. As we walked out of the cinema we came to the conclusion
that we didn't feel as bad as after Twister. Not by a long
shot.
